Public Sector
The Speech Centre has worked with many Local Authorities, Central and Devolved Government Departments and Agencies since its inception. We also frequently work with social services, police, probation and prison officers, etc.
We have a great deal of experience providing accessibility and productivity solutions to the Public Sector and its staff. Whether the requirement is based on productivity or to assist in ensuring compliance with the Equalities Act in the provision for disabled staff, we provide solutions, products and services to help.

We acknowledge and comply with all applicable requirements of the Data Protection Legislation (including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), the Law Enforcement Directive, and all applicable Law regarding the processing of personal data and privacy). As an organisation involved in IT we operate with highest levels of security in place and are fully aware of the Cyber Essentials scheme and requirements.
Our staff understand the constraints and restrictions of working in secure environments on a technical, departmental and individual level. We recognise the need to understand organisation and departmental structures, and most importantly the requirements for Privacy and Confidentiality
Our Engagement
Whether our engagement is as a result of a disability, requirement for neurodiversity assistance, or specifically related to productivity and efficiency we are able to help. It may be:
– Simply in response to provision of the suggested products and services already identified for an individual in a needs/workplace assessment (Access To Work of otherwise)
– To undertake an individual assessment to establish and propose the options and needs, and provide report or plan to implement the solutions
– To provide input and consultancy to identify technology and services that can assist with specific needs or productivity
– To propose group/multi-user provision and support services for specific technology on a departmental basis or otherwise
