Support Contracts
The Speech Centre offers a comprehensive range of general computer hardware and software support together with specialist support in the speech recognition and ergonomics products we provide.
These include milti-level courses for everything from standard telephone support to on site assistance with standard response times.
SpeechCover Remote Support Contracts
Your SpeechCover support contract is effectively your insurance policy providing you cover in the event of any problems. Be safe in the knowledge that should something happen with your solution and you need assistance, with SpeechCover in place we are committed to providing you support as and when it is needed within the terms of the agreement. Someone is at the end of the phone to respond to your call and our technical team will give you priority and be helping you in no time, providing you with the assistance you need:
- Unlimited technical enquiries
- A fixed annual rate
- Remote support – by phone, email or a remote connection
Pay-As-You-Go
Have not contract and need support, we are happy to help. It may be a one-off and you may feel happier to take it as it comes. The quality of support will be as high but without your commitment to signing up for a yearly contract:
- Technical support as and when it’s needed
- An hourly rate
- Remote support – by phone, email or a remote connection
Software Maintenance Assurance
Some of our software solutions have manufacturer or software house Software Maintenance Assurance (SMA) available.
Software Maintenance Assurance is the manufacturer’s commitment to maintain the software integrity, guarantee that purchased software applications remain available in the event of such things as disk or download corruption, provide point release updates and, in most cases upgrades, at no additional charge while the SMA is current and paid-up. Some SMAs may provide these things subject to certain terms and conditions contained therein which notably may include your obligation to keep your software updated when available.
Software Maintenance should not be mistaken for support services such as those The Speech Centre offers as outlined above – as stated, the SMA is the manufacturer or software house assurance in respect of their software and enables the continued development of their software. In the case of certain manufacturers’ products, the SMA may be mandatory for a minimum period when the products are purchased.
Remote Support
We offer two options for remote support for clients in order to safeguard them with their solutions and products, available on speech recognition and digital dictation solutions as well as our other mainstream products:
The Speech Centre technical support team is on hand 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday to handle remote support calls. Annual support contract packages take preference in terms of response, etc., while ad-hoc remote support tends to be by appointment (although it may sometimes may be possible immediately.
